Zoned copper gel mattress: how zoning works and which to choose
A zoned copper gel mattress uses different materials under different parts of your body, so your shoulders, hips and legs each get the support they need, with copper-gel memory foam on top for a cooler surface.
How the zones work
In our ActiveAlign Reactive Copper Zoned mattresses, one layer is split into zones: firmer support foam under the head and feet, and a plush cooling-gel zone under the upper torso. The goal is a neutral spine: shoulders sink in a little, hips stay supported. On top sits 1" of copper-gel infused memory foam and 2" of reactive foam, which springs back quickly (a latex-like feel) so you don’t feel stuck when you turn over.

Who each one suits
- Back and combination sleepers: the 12" zoned medium is a safe, supportive middle ground.
- Side sleepers and anyone who sleeps hot: the 14" zoned hybrid is softer at the surface and breathes better thanks to the coils.
- Adjustable base owners: both flex well; the 12" is lighter and a little easier to handle.
