Quick guide
- Side sleepers: usually happiest on plush to medium. Look at the 12" Gel Plush, 14" Copper Hybrid Plush or 14" ActiveAlign Zoned Hybrid.
- Back sleepers: medium to medium firm, such as the 12" Copper or the 12" ActiveAlign Zoned.
- Stomach sleepers and heavier sleepers: medium firm to firm, such as the 12" Lavender Firm or the 10" ActiveAlign Medium-Firm.
- Hot sleepers: look for copper or gel comfort layers and air-channel bases; hybrids breathe best.
- Couples who disagree: the 12" iSwitch is flippable, or choose a split king with two different mattresses.
